We are open 51 weeks a year; the nursery will be closed annually from Christmas Eve to the first working day of the New Year.
We are closed on bank holidays, and one-half day per term for team training (three per year).
Sophie Hawkins
Sophie Hawkins is a dedicated Nursery Manager who is passionate about providing high-quality care and early education. She leads on creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, parents feel supported and our team thrive.
With Early Years Teacher Status, over 10 years' experience in the early years and also a parent of two beautiful under 5s herself, Sophie brings knowledge, skills and a genuine understanding of family life into her role, ensuring every decision supports both children and their families.
With an increasing number of parents working from home, the Cub Hub offers a delightful alternative. You can attend to your emails, savour a delightful North Star Coffee and indulge in delectable treats from our locally sourced menu. Moreover, parents can relish a generous 20% discount on all Cub Hub refreshments, along with a 10% retail discount at the Cubhouse Store.
The Hub cafe is open Monday to Friday, 7.45am to 2.30pm.
Our on-site studio hosts several classes for parents, babies and toddlers.
We’re encouraging muddy boots and curious minds as children explore the wonders of our Woodland at Cub.
Due to high demand, we are not able to accept new families on our waiting list at this time.
